Voltea Releases CapDI for Automotive Paint Line Rinse Water Reuse Case Study

Voltea, the world’s leader in Membrane-Capacitive Deionization (CapDI©), for salt-free and chemical-free water softening and desalination, has created a case study based on our CapDI installation at a leading auto-manufacturer in the U.S.. This case study focuses on how our CapDI technology works in the paint line rinse water reuse application, where our CapDI system allows this manufacturer to realize $1.78M and 6.24M GAL in annual water recovery savings.

Voltea Hires Global Quality Leader, Dan Connorton

Voltea, the world’s leader in Membrane-Capacitive Deionization (CapDI©), for salt-free and chemical-free water softening and desalination, announced today the addition of Dan Connorton, Global Quality Leader, effective January 16, 2017. Dan joins the Voltea Operations Team at the Dallas office, reporting to Timothy Cavitt, Chief Operations Officer.
Quality is of utmost importance at Voltea, and bringing in a Quality Leader that has previous experience with CapDI is a great opportunity for the company.
“I am excited to rejoin Voltea at a crucial time for business growth. Implementing a world class quality system that can help drive continuous improvement throughout the company is an essential part of our process,” mentioned Connorton.
“Dan’s experience leading and directing quality organizations will ensure we continue to implement a quality culture within Voltea, which will place our technology in front of the competition. We are committed to providing a high-quality product that signifies the quality of our brand in the market. I am pleased to have Dan join our Operations Leadership team,” explained Cavitt.
Dan rejoins Voltea with years of quality systems management experience in the water industry. He has significant experience with membrane technology and over 4 years with Voltea’s CapDI Technology in particular. Dan will bring ISO QMS set-up experience to the team, and will be responsible for ensuring Voltea’s quality system is maintained to customer expectations, driving a world class product to high standards. This role includes managing quality at both manufacturing facilities in Dallas, Texas and Sassenheim, The Netherlands, as well as component suppliers.

Voltea, the world’s leader in Membrane-Capacitive Deionization (CapDI©), for salt-free and chemical-free water softening and desalination, has created a case study based on our CapDI installation at Republic Steel in Lorain, OH. This case study focuses on how our CapDI technology works in the cooling tower application, and specifically for Republic Steel using raw river water from their local Black River.
